What do you mean? I play using these skins all the time, and I think Sonic is awesome.

And if you're saying this is bullshit because "they don't flip the other way," "some of em walk funny," and "there aren't eyes," like I said in the first place: I did the best I could with what I had. Any "crappiness" is due ENTIRELY to the limitations of this game engine and the allowed customizability, as well as the grittiness of the original Sonic character "models." Furthermore, who says you can't shoot behind you without looking!? I chose the character images looking as forward as possible for a reason: So they can at least seem like they're looking backward when they need to (like when the eyes of some paintings seem to follow you as you walk across a room).

You do better if you still think it sucks...

i think its a nice idea to make sonic skins but it isnt teeworld style sry. I cant make skins big_smile

Go ahead and criticize, but I said make better, not worse. Seriously, that's creepy and scary! At least I have the excuse that it's cut directly from the game, so it's as good as it gets...

Worst skins ever. Not in Teeworlds style. You should make skins similar to Lappi's. And if you think you've made good looking skins, then you think too much ( IMHO ).

For the LAST FREAKING TIME! They are NOT MY skins! I CUT THEM DIRECTLY OUT OF THE GAME! Then I cleaned them up a lot around the edges [intensive reconstructive surgery] (otherwise they would look a lot worse), amputated their legs (dressing the stubs to look nicer [again intensive reconstructive surgery]), and put the better leg to the side, painstakingly testing and repositioning the chunks to look and function as best as possible, over many, MANY trials.

And to HELL with your "style"! I ALWAYS got my own unique style! If you can make up your own "style," why the heck can't I use my already super unique style!?

I'm proud of being young (although I'm probably older than you, trust me...so at least acting young again)!

Furthermore, I can handle criticism, as long as it's reasonable, logical, and properly phrased so that the general non-BS-eating populace can understand it clearly. The rest, I just ignore or regard as a big steaming pile of bullshit (such as not being "Teeworld style").

In addition, if everyone COULD do it, then why am I the first and apparently only one that DID do it (of Sonic anyway)? Honestly, it was much tougher than you think to do all that for each and every one of them. In fact, I doubt even a tenth of people skinning in Teeworlds could do such a job as cleanly, instead of making pitiful excuses for knockoffs of the characters.

And I HAVE to make "Tees" (whatever the shit those are). Who the f#%$ deemed that as the 11th Commandment!? ("Thou shalt not skinneth anything but Tees in Teeworlds or thou shalt suffer the damnation of 1000 enemas....per day....until the end of time! --Sincerely, God"). Screeeeeeew that! I do whatever I want, whatever I want, however I want! Damned if I'll let old farts like you drag me down to your level! You take your goddamn "Teeworld style" and shove it!

But than that would be so boring without such a speech...besides, I like arguing my point. The fact of the matter is, there's no real reason stuff doesn't "fit" into a game, any game really. By saying that, you wish the game to be much more limited than it already is...Personally, the less moddable a game is, the more I hate it. I want my games to be limited only by mine and other's imaginations, regardless of "style" or any such ridiculous and fickle things. So enough with trying to shove BS down my throat...

Completely not my point, but I guess you're right in some way...I guess it is senseless for me to argue...I'll just respond to any further "cut-out" requests if anyone has 'em, be they Sonic or other (whatever I can get a hold of).

some ppl will download your skin, because they love sonic smile
but others want to have teestyle... you don't have to make tees! the problem is, that more ppl want to have tees. [sry, my english is bad ^^']

Just want to say that these skins are on the better side of 99 % of all skins posted by users here.

Most of the skins I see on this site either make me laugh so hard my sides hurt or make me wonder what kind of people play this game ... makes me wanna stop playing for fear I may become one of them. I'm sure if you showed little kids how to use inkscape they would make better skins that 99 % of the skins posted on here.

At least these sonic skins, much like the mario skins try to incorporate some part of the old skool games in newer games. I know there are plenty of sonic and mario maps, so if these skins can be improved, they would go great with the maps.

Also, I happen to agree that the critics here are probably little kids or frustrated teens:
no constructive comments
no reasonable discussion
overreaction to situations
put downs

Reminds me of junior high ... ahh good times.

For me it is not the problem that they are no teestyle. I only think it's bad when the skins eyes don't fit with the way of looking...
