Also, minor(?) suggestion, but name impersonation could probably be controlled without limiting to ASCII (for almost all situations) like this:
If the name, when non-ASCII characters (and whitespace) are removed, is either one of the following:
- Identical to another name
- Is another name with some characters removed or replaced with whitespace
then the second name is changed to include a (1) before it (or (2) or whatever is appropriate).

There's also characters which modify the directionality of text which are not covered by this, and so a separate step would be needed to deal with them. But the method I described above should eliminate a large majority of possible methods for name spoofing.

For a demo -> video converter, one could select a list of players who appear in the game to attempt to follow, going with the first choice and if it is not possible to follow them (due to spectating or leaving) then choosing the next entry in the list. If there is nobody available, then it can follow whoever has the most points (preferring flag carriers over those who do not have a flag). If there are no players, then the camera should probably sit in place.

I've got two FNG maps which are close to ready for public release, hopefully they'll be on the forums soon! Aforementioned maps are on the back burner. Still doing mapping, but have higher priority map projects.
It should never take 45 seconds to download a map for anyone with a decent connection.

I think keyframes would be very cool to have in the editor. In my opinion, it's much easier to create animations like that.

to prevent ddos attacks on MY persian servers , in last 5 weeks ago untill now ,  i ran 2 servers , one servers for intranet ips ( with my own master server ) and one with internet ips , just to adver my intranet servers neutral if teeworlds teams can solve this problem , i will be appreciated smile cus only persian players , can enter my intranet servers while , before i had turkiye and russian players too neutral also i need to run 2 servers just to adver intranet ips for persian players neutral means more server costs sad if i close my internet ip servers , new players can not see persian servers and teeworlds will be Extincted for persian sad

Interesting idea!
I like the idea of some kind of supportive weapon, which could increase team play. If there's only one or a few spawns of this weapon, the team would have to use it in the best possible way to support victory.

This also made me thinking of a kind of "escort" gamemode, where one player carries some kind of special heavy weapon which is crucial in destroying the enemy base or otherwise really strong and helpful. It must be protected by the other players so the heavy weapon can slowly move on.
It could be a very long cooldown explosive with a big explosion radius. Something that is required to attack the base or even to get through the enemy defenses. This would go perfectly well with the idea of destructible blocks.
The other team would have to defend the base, of course: Slowing down the escort troop or perhaps even building defensive walls for the base.

I know, I know, this is Teeworlds following the KISS principle. After all, this was just a bit of brainstorming! big_smile

1) Optional team collision: team collsion is not really needed, and there should be an option to disable it. Server admins can then add votes to allow players choose what they want, just as it is the case with team damage. Team collsion is relevant only in mods that depend on it like OpenFNG. It has no use in Vanilla aside from trolling and blocking teammates on purpose and accidentally. Players always prefer to turn team collision off on every modded server I know of that provides this option (e.g. Instagib). And I am pretty sure that Vanilla players would choose the same. Movement in Vanilla is already known to be less lean than almost any other mod, so there is no need to keep something that makes it worse and for no benefit.

2) Improved ping: My average ping is about 100, when I use the ddnet client, I get a ping of 80 average. This works on all servers including Vanilla servers. Also this is different from the anti-ping feature, because it happens even when anti-ping is disabled. And I can feel the difference in delay while playing so it isn't just a fake ping or something.

My friend TheDude can confirm that there is ~20ms less latency (not just visible ping, it does feel less laggy) when using DDnet client. 65ms with ddnet, 85ms-ish with Gamer, on my servers.

Iron skin powerup, a tee which has that powerup, cannot be hooked.
The effect of the Iron skin powerup is finite, and it disappears over some time.

Dr.Dre, you may already know, but there is indeed an undo function in the map editor. However, it's disabled by default in ddnet client. So hit f1 and type "cl_editorundo 1"to enable it. Now you should see the undo list button on the bottom right corner of the screen, next to envelopes.

About your suggestion: Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v defeats the purpose of the "brush" system in the editor. I like it the way it is. Same thing for Ctrl+x; just hit the right mouse button. However, I do feel that the undo system could be upgraded to a more conventional style, with the good 'ol Ctrl+z instead of the mildly annoying undo list thingy.

Like it. Would make sense and would stay faithful to the game, while not being overpowered. It would be a "nice-to-have"-kind of powerup.
If there will be more power-ups in the future, I would support this one!

I agree with you about the brush, but it would be extremely nice to have a ctrl+z command. It's easy mess everything up in the editor.

I think the emotional Tees mod (or whatever it is called) should be added officially. It is teeish and looks really better than the unemotional faces of current Tees.
