Topic: Help DDRace Mapping

Hey guys.

I'm working on a DDRace map, my first one ever.
But I don't understand how to make a block that people are able to hook through without being able to walk through.
I have done some research and opened some maps,
I know what block to place and how but I doesn't work as in all the maps I play.

Would someone be so nice to teach me by editing my map so that it works.

Okay!
This is the problem:
If i place the hookthrough block where it is, it will make the unhookable under it hookthrough.
As you can see here:

A solution would be to make the unhookable under it 2 wide, instead of one.

Couldn't you just rotate the hookthrough tile 90 degrees?

It doesn't matter how it is placed, it always works in all directions.

I have a question, do you then know why my teeworlds doesn't contain for example : freeze or hookthrough? Don't have the required parts for building ddrace map...

Because, you need custom entities.png, which is in data/editor directory.

place it there.

Or just download custom client, which will give you a lot of more features and posibilites, which are not allowed with standard client.
