Topic: [MOD] CStrike - Counter Strike based on OpenFng

Hi

Counter Strike

CStrike is an openfng based mod that has the additional items.

Active Weapon: Current active weapon that players have in hands.
SubActive: Sub active weapon - many items are under any weapons.
Command: Command to buy from shop.
Default: Any Players have this item.

first, players items&commands that can be used in the game.

Red Players items = Terrorists items

/buy you can use this command to see all items.
All of these items can be bought from the vote menu(settings).


Notice:

Bomb: this mod doesn't have any bomb for terrorist.
Buy Zone: you can buy items just in terrorist or counter terrorist buy zone.
Round 1: in the first round you can't buy any item and you just have a hammer and a knife.
Change Sub Active Weapons: you can use emote Oops or bind a kay for command /st to change sub active weapons (bind s say /st).

I would be interested in the source, so that i can compile for linux and host on linux.
Windows hosting is typically only used in home servers :c

But, just a linux version would be good enough if you don't like giving out your source.
Please help us linux folk out! xD

The source issue isn't just an issue of convenience, it's also about a violation of the license agreement for the code base this mod was developed from. So yes, source code IS technically needed, but it looks as if it's unlikely for us to be seeing it anytime soon.

I've got two FNG maps which are close to ready for public release, hopefully they'll be on the forums soon! Aforementioned maps are on the back burner. Still doing mapping, but have higher priority map projects.
It should never take 45 seconds to download a map for anyone with a decent connection.

Why don't you just publish it on GitHub? People will be able to fix errors for you if they see some, or easily report them. Also, you won't need to use rar and such a strange file hoster uploading the source yikes ...Why do people always use rar... -.-

He's doing this project voluntarily. No need to demand stuff. Using git is non-trivial if you haven't used it before, etc.

that has some error but it's not fatal... ( i saw that error in old build of 0.7)
