Topic: Computer

Hello there,

I am just wondering if computers afftect the speed and game. I am currently using a PC of 15 years old that runs Intel Core Pentium D (Dual) and 2 GB RAM. It seems that I cant react fast enough a lot of times and usually lose to other players. I know my computer may affect my game, but is it really that significant? Is it just I am bad?

Hi,

i guess its name is cl_showfps 1. you can use this function in f1 to see your fps, you should have about 60 (depends on screen) to play without graphical laggs. also you need a ping under about 80 to react more faster. you should also play on server with the same ping.

I tested this out, and I saw that if a Computer is old u aren't able to play right because the Computer don't have much FPS (Frames per second).
I think the blame lies on the Computer and its not u'r fault.
