Topic: LAN interface improvement release

Hi guys,

we are a class of programming students and we chose to colaborate with you in our course conclusion project. The result is a version with a LAN server configuration interface.

Hi Ricardo dos Santos,

can you tell us what version you started from? Did you take a release (e.g. 0.6.2 or similar) or did you start off from the development branch?

I do like the simplicity of the patch and that you can just click 'Create LAN' to create a LAN server, I think something like this should be integrated into the next version.

If it works perfectly as is, why not make a small point update for it? 0.6.3 i guess. If it is pushed until 0.7, then who knows how much longer until the feature is integrated. Just a thought. I guess an unofficial could integrate this now, correct?

I don't know, the amount of options is still really low compared to what you could define with a proper .cfg, and you can't even set a rcon to change these later. It looks good but probably needs some basic improvements.

Well you can just compile the current version on the github and you'd get an "unofficial" update.

Or even better, it would be good if you'd get an automatic rcon login.
