Topic: Autoexec.cfg failed to open...?

Hello I downloaded the game on my windows 8.1 pc and played the game no problem. I changed some some settings of course and properly exited the game. Next day I go to open the game and it says Error: Failed to open autoexec.cfg

Why will it not let me open the game? I have deleted everything (Even in roaming folder) and re downloaded the game and it still does not work. Please help! big_smile

autoexec.cfg is just needed for your own server configuration. You don't need to bother that it is missing.
Sadly due to the lack of information you provided, I can't tell you why the game won't start.

Does it crash?
Not open?
Can't you "switch" into the game?

Did you change any settings outside of teeworlds, like your graphics card driver?
