Topic: wasser tees

I don't speak German, but I know that wasser is water, and I regularly say wasser in my everyday routine.

Here's a little water art as another thanks for Teeworlds. Originally was for something else, but adapted into Teeworlds fan art

Can tees actually breathe underwater or do they have to hold their breath?

I always thought they'd breathe through their whole skin like rain worms do. Maybe a dev can shed some light to this issue of certainly very high importance?
