Topic: Hook speed when hooked by another

Hi,
I have noticed that when you hook a wall and you're hooked by another player, your hook becomes very long. When he stops hooking at you, the speed for the hook to become shorter is low, it's the same than in normals conditions. I think that speed should be increased, it could help with teamplay...
What do you think?

I think tees should bounce. From the walls, from each other, from everything. But that's just a dream...

As for the rope? I don't think it would add to the fun. Although I guess I can imagine a living slingshot bullet... though it would require additional damage calculation - from high speed impacts and that would change the gameplay a bit too much.

And it could help teamplay how exactly?

Dani, rope = suicide still. Liver got used to it so don't mind.

It would also make so called dummy dragging nigh impossible. Not sure how well that would go down with those who enjoy it.

I like it the way it is now.

Tee slingshot sure would be fun smile.

But it would help mostly when fighting against a team I think, or rather when trying to get away from it with the flag. In those situation the double hook situation happen spontaniously as you hook to get away and they hook at you to stop you. As it is now the odds are really against the runner when catched like that, the slingshot effect would shift the balance somewhat since the defenders would need to kill fast or the runner would fly away on hook release smile. I don't know if that would be good or bad for balance, but it sure would be fun.

As for dummy dragging, I imagine it could be balanced in a way so that only gets harder, not impossible. Might even be possible to slingshot the dummy around some difficult corner wink.
