Topic: Teeworlds game port

Hi guys,
I have a question connected with teeworlds game port(s).
I need to tell my administrator on which port this game communicates,
and then he will enable its for me.
Now I can't see any servers and can't connect to any.
How can I check on which port this game is working?

The game works on ports 8303 by default, but you can change that in the server config if you need to.

Command:

sv_port xxxx

But I am talking about client. I can't see any config for that.

Then I don't think it's a problem of ports not being open at your home. Could be wrong but I believe the issue comes from the masterservers.

When I connect to the wireless net I can easily find and connect to any server.
When I connect to home net I can't see anything and can't connect to any server.
So I don't know what is the reason for this..
Administrator told that all ports are blocked by default.

There's probably a masterserver that doesn't work.

The masterservers are listening on udp port 8300. The teeworlds servers have different ports. You might ask your administrator to open a big portrange (like 8000-9000).

Wow, don't fucking do that. You do NOT need to open ports to play at Teeworlds. The masterservers are DOWN atm, so it's normal if you can't connect. Just be a little patient.

Btw, masterservers use 8302 and not 8300 iirc. (still don't open that port, or a 1000 range one ><)
