Topic: Problems w. Retina macbook and resolution

Hello smile

I am trying to play TEEWORLDS on my Retina Macbook. Im all new to this game, and I am definitely not good with computers at all.

My problem is:

When i double click the teeworlds icon, the game starts. But I can only see like 1/5 of the image, because everything is too big. I can only see one corner of the game.

The other problem is that my mouse is not functioning.

Can any of you guys help?

Hello,

You need to either change the resolution of the game or make it go fullscreen. If you can't do that ingame, you'll have to manually edit the settings.cfg file.
Now you need to find this file. I don't really know where it is on Mac (anyone?), it's somewhere with your other applications data (your browser cache etc...).

Once you've found this file, edit gfx_fullscreen line to 1, or search for something like windows_width and windows_height that would look like resolution numbers and change these to your device resolution.

Hello again! Thank you for a quick response.

I have found out, that it is all caused by OSX auto switching from the slower gfx to the fast gfx!

So if I tell it not to (by using gfxCardstatus for example) all of the above problems does not occure!
