Topic: Maximum Server restricted to 525

So I know there are already posts about the problem which just occurred on my PC, but in those threads there is no solution and they are at least several months old.
The problem which occurred is, that when I refresh the Server List filter it shows the maximum amount of 525 servers of which I can see 4xx, instead of the usual 8xx out of 1000 servers.
I cannot think of any reason for this bug (which I expect it to be) since I played Teeworlds several times a few days ago and then suddenly in the evening this occurred.
Since then I can only find 525 server at max.
Ideas?

This indeed seems to be a bug. Someone else already asked about it and after inspecting the packet captures he provided it seems like Teeworlds itself is not even requesting info from the servers that do not show up.

Okay I don't know if this helps but I went through my favorite server list in the settings.cfg file and tried to join the servers via ip.
Those which I could still see e.g. 46.4.97.42:8320 we're still available for me but those I couldn't see e.g. 46.38.232.205:8302 were not accessible to me. I can not connect to these, although I could every day everytime before.

I'm sorry if this may sound rude, but since there are no more replies, I need to ask whether there is no effort in solving such major problem which occurred to many players?

yea for about 6 days now only half the servers show. if you refresh about 20 times you will get all of them sometimes.

As far as I can remember this issue got already fixed some time ago

I had the same problem and it turned out to be caused by a faulty DNS server.

Same as deen, it was a DNS problem. I fix it by changing my default DNS server.
But with a wrong DNS, all your DNS request would be affected, have you some random 404 errors when you try connect to a website ?

I can only find 1100 servers and i shutdown torrent and browser.
