I have some ideas for some mods.
First is a mod I am thinking of is a pokemon type mod.
Where there is 6 players max and a login system.
Second idea is a oxygen mod.
You start with 10 armour and 10 health.
You lose 1 armour every 3 seconds.
Lazer guns dont give you ammo, they give you 4 armour.
No shields on map.
Last idea is a fashion mod.
You download others skins and show your skins off.
No killing or death or points.
If you have ideas, just go to learn C/C++, and code your mods. You even didn't say any information about the "pokemon" mod, the oxygen mod can be just annoying (in my opinion) and the fashion mod... why not. But if you want to do a mod, prefer doing them instead of purposing them.
Fashion mod is not doable without modding client.
Fashionmod seems boring to me, but not only because it lacks an achievable goal.
what about a mod, with two teams (red, blue) and a dummy (purple) in the middle and you have to drag him into a box to get points?
Doesn't look like Dummy Drag at all.
Well I said why not for the fashion mod because of persons can like it, but I don't. And for other mods that you purposed, I think that nearly nobody will like them.
Pikotee, your idea look like good but if it's like ctf but only changing the flag to a dummy... you'll need to change some things to make it better.

1. I have tried C/C++ and I didn't get it.
2. For the pokemon mod it could be like zchaos but you use grenades to catch wild pokemon and if you hammer someone they have to battle you in the the battle room.
3. Your right Neox76 oxygen mod could be very annoying.
