Topic: 2 Servers on one vServer, only 1 is shown

Hey,

i'm running 2 servers on one vServer, but only one of them is shown in the serverlist, but why? I started the 2. Server with port 8304. It's now shown in the list, but I can connect and play on.

Any ideas?

Re: 2 Servers on one vServer, only 1 is shown

hi, I've got exactly the same problem.

I had a DM server running on port 8303, and a TDM server running on 8304, and only the DM server shows in the in-game browser. I can manually connect to the TDM server by entering in the IP and 8304. Example: x.x.x.x:8304.

It seems the browser only sees servers using 8303.

The browser just checks for servers on the port 8303.

That's kind of bad. X-P

Somerunce: I don't think so. We (HuH) run three servers on ports 8303, 8304 and 8305 and they're all visible in the server browser.
Are you sure you've used the good sv_var to set which port the server is listening on?

spl0k: The lan-browser just checks for servers on the port 8303.
Thought that was the case.
