Topic: Double question

First question: When you press f1 (console) and write ping it indicates your latency in milliseconds, I thought that was the ping shown on the scoreboard.
What's the difference? I can go on a *gv* server and get 125 ping, and 150-200 latency. What does the ping on  the scoreboard mean then??

Second question: When you record with the integrated demo recorder, how do you watch it besides in teeworlds? I've tryed converting it but it didnt work with DEMO files..

Any help would be great smile

First Question: http://teedune.wordpress.com/2011/06/16 … g-the-lag/ a blog entry of the nice dune.
Second Queston: You can only watch the .demo files with the teeworlds client. The demo file only includes position of the players around you.

Re: Double question

I know this is an old post but I really wonder if anyone has a better answer to question number one.

Why is game ping vs. f1 ping so different.

Re: Double question

Because latency includes the processing client-side and server-side.

Not Luck, Just Magic.
