Topic: Issue downloading maps from servers

Hi guys. My first post, sorry for asking for help. I tried to use the search engine, but it keeps saying "ERROR 502".
Well, I have an issue with downloading new maps from servers. Seems that my client can not download them, it just says "map <anynewmap> not found", actually just download an empty file. It happens with any new map, sometimes it says "map <anymap> differs from <anothermap>". I tried recreating the "downloadmaps" folder, but with no luck.
Does anybody else has this problem? I'm an archlinux user, my client is 0.6.1-3 version, and a month ago I had no problems of that kind.
Thanks in advance for your attention, and sorry if I misplaced my question.
See you guys.

Did you join a modded server? Could be that it disallows map downloads. Also check the permissions on your ~/.teeworlds and downloadmaps directories.

I'm using ArchLinux myself and just tried it, works fine here.

When I had ArchBang, the same thing happened to me, but a day later it was fine. I never found out what it was.

Yes, sounds just like what is supposed to happen in "ArchBang"

But... what if we tried more power?

And you sound like you have no damn clue.
