Topic: Server Problem, need help please.

Hey guys, I'm new to this game and I'm having trouble making a server.
I followed this youtube tutorial exactly as it said.

And i port forwarded my router. When I run the server, it says it registers. But I can't find it anywhere in the Internet list. Also, if i type in the Host address and connect to it. it goes right into my server. But it says unnamed server, when i clearly changed the server name and rules. It seems like it's all default settings. and also, my girlfriend cannot join my server. I dont know what the problem is.

You don't see locally hosted servers in the internet list. Also, if it is using default config settings it's not reading your config properly.

Either make it autoexec.cfg in the same folder as the server, or make a .bat file that runs "server.exe -f config.cfg".

That was awesome, Thank you Broken.. that made my server work.

Now I have one other problem.. My girlfriend cannot join my server. even if she types in my host's address, it wont connect. Any ideas?

If you are in lan, then it should be okay for her to search in LAN tab and server setting sv_register 0. If she isn't, then you will have to forward some ports for teeworlds server, and set sv_register to 1, maybe setup password. Google for port forwarding wink
