Topic: New Developer wants to help

Hello.

I am a Software Developer and I am looking to keep my C++ skill set active.  I enjoy this game, my son loves it too, so this would be a good match.

I have 3 years of C++ development experience.  Some Python, but Perl is my strength.

Anyways, it isn't clear from browsing the site and forums what issues need help.  Can another developer guide me with a small bug that could use fixing?

Hi bleutyler,

Feel free to dive right in. If you have any questions just drop by on #teeworlds-dev on Quakenet.

Re: New Developer wants to help

According to my IRC log, you joined the channel today in the morning and asked if others can hear you. The answer is yes. However, when chatting on IRC keep in mind, that although the channel seems to be full (>30 ppl), most people just idle and read the logs when coming online again. So it might take some time to get your answer. Additionally, asking at around 6:00 UTC+1 isn't a good idea, because most ppl in that channel are from Europe, therefore it's early in the morning. smile

#teeworlds-dev is always a good opportunity to start communication. But as heinrich said, most devs are European, so it will prolly take some time until people react smile
