I've been in favor of this idea for a while now. On CTF5, those two long sections on either side in the middle are too advantageous to flag runners. I know this because I camp there all the time and manage to get away from attackers every time. However, if someone gets ninja it might make tees second guess camping out there.

ctf maps can have katanas as well, just look at ctf2

You have a point, but half the time the admin disables the katana on any map.
