hi
i can create master server  whit new ip
all can do it
for learning that
download this file and run it

now your pc is master server but how can use your ip to master server???

1. go to run
2. type : %appdata% and enter
3. fine teeworlds folder
4. open masterserver.cfg whit notepad
5. erase it
6. write your ip like that   :   Ip Ip:83300
example:     130.185.72.185 130.185.72.185:8300

big_smile

now when u run server your server run in your master server

What would be the use of running a local master server? If you are in a lan, the servers will appear in the lan tab anyways...

always people can create master server for new contry or new group
when people have master server They are  not need to search servers of  freands whit nice ping
becuse they can fast see all server run into himself master server.

This is useful as a private masterserver. One hosts the masterserver and tells his friends to write it's IP into their masters.cfg and make it "Read only". Voilla! Now you see servers which others can't tongue

Creating your own masterserver seems just pointless to me. You have to work around quite some troubles concerning DNS resolution/addresses of the masters.

Still, bam executes a bam script which could possibly be anything, even malicious stuff

Edit: thanks for pointing it out: it's could actually do anything malicious you could do in a lua script when running it as root. Have fun

Having troubles finding servers in the serverlist? Go to Pastebin (its a referer cause there is daily a new pastebin) and add the lines to your settings.cfg (in %APPDATA%\teeworlds). Then open teeworlds and go to the favorites tab. (Note however, standard teeworlds client can only show 256 favorites, use ddnet instead)
