Topic: , a disire i have for the next teeworlds update ..

Hey there teeworlds developers and community !

there is something from wich i have had LOTS of problems with , and that is :::

REFRESHING

, normaly you need to refresh  by yourself , and sometimes you forget , so could you guys be so kind to make a auto-refresh system ? that would help me ( and propably alot of other tees) ALOT
EDIT:

another kind of .. idea i have would be an improved friends list , like the n-client has . what it does is that it allows you to doubleclick your friend in your friend list , if he is online . as far as i know , you cant find your friends without checking the friends only button . this is all IMO

Unfortunately, refreshing takes time and you're not able to see the whole server list while it's being refreshed (unless we actually implement some kind of transparent refreshing which would save the previous list until everything is updated).
It would suck if the autorefresh would happen while you are actually looking at the server list.

Yeah.
There is no need to clean all the server list are look for all the servers again.
It would be nice to refresh the server list without clean the tab.
And it should work wen people left servers. smile

No. I hate it when I switch to "lan" or "demos" and then switch back to "Internet" and it refreshes again. But implementing an option to auto refresh when disconnecting from a server would be nice.

Once in a century...

I agree with Dune, it's unnecessary to clean the list when refreshing. +1 to transparent refreshing.

But... what if we tried more power?

Neither. Sometimes I just wanna try 3 servers in the list, and don't wanna wait a re-refresh (especially when they won't end up being in the same order).

sorry , i think you guys misunderstould , i meant i would like a auto-refresh system , when disconnecting off a server , and maybe a on /of button to put auto refresh on/off :0

Well the fact that it doesn't refresh after disconnecting from a server is a good thing IMO. I wish it wouldn't refresh when you switched to demo or LAN either. But yes, it would be better to make it refresh after disconnecting from a server and put a checkbox there to make auto refreshing disabled (only refresh when I tell you to. feels like a KISS one smile ).

But... what if we tried more power?

i have thought about the idea again , and i found a solution.

1st , we could propably just put a checkbox to turn it on / of
2nd , i know this is a bit far looked , but maybe a checkbox wich can allow you to show / not show servers that lately have had lots of spamming / voting .

this all is propably impossible , but once i have something in my mind i need to post it.
