0.7 will not feature any bot protection.
Let's say probably between 1 month and 2 years?

I think 0.7 will be released soon, the new protocol is done, the new skin system is also finished.

About the bots,
0.6 wont work on 0.7, so, you'll be able to play without cheaters... But then...
Someone will create a bot, and bots will return!!! ~Drama Sound!~

What are you waiting for? Most people porbably use a client with several new features already and I guess the new default client can only outplay those with lots of switches and possibilities to configure the stuff.
When it comes to bugfixing or adding new fatures, you better wait patiently or help out.

When i look to your github repo ( https://github.com/teeworlds/teeworlds ) i dont see much activity..
Only the language submodule is really new ( since last 2 months ).
What do you say?

GitHub isn't updated yet and it's not synchronized with the Dropbox...

i have a suggiestion ! :d, maybe the developers , can post a download for a weekly ( or each 2 weeks , or each month) snapshot of their teeworlds project! this should stun the patience of some teeworlds players who are waiting

Yeah, I liked the builds page as well.
Wasn't it a different system in use? Called trac or so, creating those builds automatically?
Right now there are other people compiling some kind of regular updated beta version of teeworlds. However I would prefer an official channel without learning how to build it from source.
Anway, I guess there is not much use in a teeworlds which requires different servers as well... so I will wait for a public release. For a long time?

Why working with dropbox ?
Why not pushing your change in a (forked) git repos more often ? It would be useful for people who want have a look on what's in going on and update her repos instead of merging a lot of code every 2~4 months.
