Topic: [MOD] BALL

This ball mod for 0.6.1 is usable for many different ball games, like basketball, tabletennis, spaceball and so on.
It supports the standard score model and has some new features:

  • Goalkeeper without chat-command (Ninja)

  • Multiple goalkeepers possible if defined in the map

  • Shotgun as ball

  • Normal damage with grenades, pistols and lasers

  • Health = 0 => stunned

  • New, very clean bouncing calculations

  • Slam dunk support

  • Armor to increase ball keep time

You can test the mod on my servers, search for 'allfex'.

Important: Old ball maps need a small update, which replaces grenade->shotgun and the goalkeeper spawns. You can find some updated ball maps at https://github.com/scosu/teeworlds/tree … /data/maps

Really awesome mod. Just one thing, what would the config be if I wanted to have just one server and allow the players to change between basketball, tabletennis etc at their discretion?

You need to allow them to vote for different sets of configuration such as:

addvote "Change to basket" "exec basket.cfg"
addvote "Change to tennis" "exec tennis.cfg"
...
etc...

With the appopriate .cfgs for each gametype.

There are no recommended settings, simply try some different values and go with the one you like. However I uploaded my server configs: http://allfex.org/files/teeworlds/cfgs/
basketball.cfg is copied from funelefant.de

Sorry, I can't help you. Bam never canceled here without a reason. Does it work to compile vanilla teeworlds?

I have managed to compile it without errors. I haven't tested it so this comes with no guarantee:

Win32 (teeworlds_ball_srv.exe)

Once in a century...

It's really unfortunate that you didn't manage to reproduce the physical size and the ball autoshooting (getting away of the player) timer for the basket.

Dunno about spaceball and the other mods.
