sorry, but I REALLY dont want to use full-screen mode.
so, I'm using 1152*864.
imo,It will be good to choose Score Hud on bottom or top.

Overlapping isn't the User's concern, it's the Dev's! Aside from that, I think with time and hard work this is gonna be a great client. Congratz on your progress so far.

Okay, I took a deeper look on this cool client and that's what I found out:

I found four bugs:
* ID's higher than 10 is displayed as, for example, "1 " instead of "10".
* TeeSurf doesn't want to read gameskins neither from $PWD/data/gameskins or /usr/share/games/teeworlds.
* Proper per-weapon ammo in HUD is displayed since switching to that weapon, instead of since picking it up (this bug affects both picking up  new weapon and picking up ammo for weapon, which is already present). I haven't checked if it updates HUD after taking weapon/ammo away, but it's possible that not.
* In spectator mode, when zooming out is enabled, the left and right part of the screen is full of artifacts after a while, probably because the teeworlds window isn't square.
I'm using Linux version.
I also have seven nice ideas:
* Maybe allow users to choose when display only weapons also (for example I don't need them in OpenFNG and zCatch, but in Battle, DDRace, Alien, Infection, mPanic, zChaos, City, mCity or Space I have to know how many ammo I have).
* To add option for coloured gamemodes in list (like in Gamer Client).
* Adding option for smaller health and ammo bars over tees would also be great (like in T-Majk screen below).
* To disable ammo bar when player have only hammer (hammer doesn't have any ammo value anyway, so this could save space when playing Alien/Infection/mPanic as a an Alien/Zombie).

Mmm... quite original... quite genuine. Oh, wait! It is not!

It looks a bit too similar to the HUD modification I did almost two years ago. I've been away from this game and this forum but... it's been a surprise to see this, actually.

I have one question tho....how and why does a grenade transform too something that looks like two dropping bullets, and then retransform itself back to a grenade in the air?
its not soo easy anymore to dudge the grenade when i can hardly see it. Can i change this?

I would absolutely love to see some features from the n-client mod in this, eg the lua system. As I like that feature of that client but much prefer the interface & features of this awesome TeeSurf client.

Features its got that would be great in this:

  • LUA API

  • Faster start-up loading when you have lots of skins (though I think it loads them all up when you access the settings menu so technically its slowed to a crawl then if you have loads of Tees/skins so perhaps this isn't a great feature but handy for quick start access to games/etc, but does that come at the price of delays of loading other tees when ingame I wonder?)

  • Slightly better main interface layout, eg 1 "Servers" tab instead of "Internet/LAN/Favorites" and instead its put them inside a sub-tab and also includes a "Recent" section as well in there.

  • Slightly better looking side-tabs for the "Settings" area, spaced out more and curved.

  • Not sure what the difference is between "TeeSurf music" in the TeeSuft client settings, and the "Music" tab in n-clients client. But if its the same sorta thing then that Music tab & its interface are really handy too.

Just tried H-Client which didn't like but did like 2 features:

  • Favorites map preview & stats, + colourful players/ping indicators

  • Map Editor (not tried this but looks handy for developers I guess)

Would any of that be possible? Specially the LUA API feature as that'd mean we'd be able to add features to the awesome TeeSurf client.

Shame, I really like the TeeSurf client, but did like a few features from those others though overall hated them for lack of some things that TeeSurf had, lol. Its a case of can't win, hehe.

Sorry for re-opening probably old thread but I've some issue with running this client. When I wanted to run it, it said there are missing dlls so I manually downloaded them and put into teesurf folder. But unfortunately game crashes before it starts. Any solutions? Btw, running on win7 64bit and missing dlls were SDL + freetype. Thanks in advance.
