Topic: Sound card issues

My sound cards sample rate is 96KHz but when I set my teeworlds sounds sample rate to 96000, it sounds all glitchy and really bad. I was wondering what an ideal sample rate in teeworlds would be (btw, default sounds a little glitchy as well). Newegg link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6829102003

Re: Sound card issues

Erm, I don't know, could be a problem with the lagginess of... the Computer... itself... if you have alot downloaded. Most likely not but just a suggestion. Maybe the problem isn't Teeworlds at all, or the Sound card. I dunno, could be the wiring or something. Probably everything I said was a Wrong suggestion but... You never can tell by shooting the persons foot.

Re: Sound card issues

Have you tried a driver update for your soundcard? If you want to have 96 KHz you have to make sure that you configured this sample rate in your system sound settings and/or in the driver.

I think the teeworlds sounds don't come in 96 KHz therefore this high sample rate is of little use. Not even CDs or DVDs have such a high sampling frequency. Its normally used in sound studios etc.
