You can edit the game with changing settings: Client settings, Server settings
And you can modify the source code, if you got some knowledge about c++. You might take a look here: Hacking on source

You to learn programming first, especially C++. That's a long task and there is no tutorial or anything here to help you with programming, you'll need to learn that on your own. If it happens that you think you're good enough with programming, you can read this page from the docs to get started.

Seriously, it's not a matter of courtesy, it's just impossible for you to mod on Teeworlds if you have no knowledge about programming. It's not supposed to be accessible from everyone - not like mapping, by example.
Our answer would have been the same if you would have asked to be able to solve differential equations without learning maths. You just can't.

Just want to point out my 1000 pages C++ book.
Do you think you can skip 1000 pages about programming with being courteously? 
But: mb some1 else might programme your idea, if its a good one.

Why isn't the art of painting like a pro accessible to everyone? What would you say if someone would tell you "please I want to paint like pros, but I don't want to learn painting for months (years)".
Teeworlds is open-source, so you're free to modify the sources at your convenience, but we're not gonna teach you everything you need for programming, it would take months. If you are not motivated to learn programming, what is obviously your case, you should ask other people to program your ideas, as Slayer said, but you definitely shouldn't try to grab one or two easy tips on how to modify X variable without knowing what you're doing, it's definitely not rewarding and you'll never be able to make anything good with that.

It is possible to just do it. I have never read any book about C++. I learned it only by looking through codes on other game sources..
