What you want to do, is to change between the normal entities and modificated ones and as we don't support modifications there is no need for this function. Just use the normal entities!

"We don't support mods" doesn't mean much here, IMO. And ich presented this as a feature idea, this is in Content: Other forum, not in Development, so he does not necessarily requests this to be implemented in the main branch.

Also, having different entities is really at the border of what we could call a mod. Should we remove the skin loader because we don't support skin mods? To me, such a feature could be interesting for mapping, when you've got to switch between maps being meant to be played on several gametypes, and if well integrated to the UI, it could only be a plus.
