Topic: I can only play with standard map ...

Hello ! Sorry for my bad english, I'm french.

I have a very embarassing problem. So today, i bought a new PC because my old PC is dead (R.I.P). So I download Teeworlds immediately, and when I would go to a DDRace server... I can't... I can only click on Cancel when the screen display "Connecting to -IP-".
So I said "WTF??" and will go to my Teeworlds folder (after click on config_directory.bat)... But when I click on this .bat, the folder it opens is "My Documents" ... So I haven't the Teeworlds folder with maps etc...

Help ! big_smile

Edit: My config is : Windows 7 (x64) and my teeworlds version is 0.5.2

As you are using Windows 7, you should watch into C:\Users\name_of_user\AppData\Roaming\Teeworlds. You should find this config directory.
Also, not being able to connect to servers (while you are obviously able to contact the masterservers) might be a firewall problem, you should check that.

I haven't found the Teeworlds folder where you ask me to search. And my firewall is desactivate.

First of try downloading the latest version, second see if any software is running in the background (including anti-virus software) and make sure nothing blocks the client... I don't know, if you're seeing the servers and can't connect to none it sounds like a firewall problem /like dune said/ something is interrupting.

Mysterious stuff... Just type in "AppData" into the start menu search and have a look in "Roaming". If you don't find a folder called Teeworlds then I don't know how to help you!

And you really should upgrade to 0.6 or at least to 0.5_trunk. There you have a storage.cfg where you can define the folder in "Roaming"!

@Hip-Hop_BLOND When I launch the game I have only Skype open... I think this is a problem with my computer... But this is a new PC and that's weird... That's the same problem with the new version of teeworlds.

@GBKing There's no folder called Teeworlds in "Roaming" ... sad And I just installed the new version.
