Topic: [SOLVED] How do you download Maps?

I have heard, that you are able to download maps from other servers, anyhow.

It could be a "Hack" or so, but I'm just asking because I need some new Maps for my server and the owner, who has got the maps, is never online, and the maps are unknown, so they are only on his server.

So I'm asking, does anyone know how to get maps from other servers and is it even allowed to download those maps?

If you connect to a Server the map will be downloaded to
"...\Application Data\Teeworlds\downloadedmaps\%mapname%_%hash%.map"
%mapname% is the name of the Map and %hash% is a generated Code for the map to check if the client already has this version of the map.

If you want to use a downloaded map, copy it from "downloadedmaps" to "data\maps" and remove the "_%hash%" from the name.
But you have to ask the person who hosts the map, if you are allowed to use it.
