Topic: [DOWN] [MAP PACK] Map-collection

I've collected some maps from different servers and saved them at one place. Good if you want to find old maps, or new maps for your server. I'll also zip the whole folder when I get more maps.

You can watch and download the maps here:

If you have at least 10 maps in your downloadedmaps/-folder, contact me and send me those. Together we can make the collection bigger.

I see several of my maps laying there uncredited. Whilst it doesn't matter too much to me, I think you should work on some way to mention the mapcreator when possible. I know that would be alot more work, but it's just being fair to the creators.

Good idea. I'll start with a text file at the very top of the maplist that will contain credits for the maps I can find creators for.

If you see your map there and want credits for it, just post an answer here, or PM me. If you feel that your map shouldn't be there, I'll remove it by request.

I was thinking about this long long time ago... mb upload my whole downloaded maps as a rar big_smile

It's 300 mb's big big_smile i have maps even from the good old days when teeWorlds was teeWars xD

If ppl show interest in my idea i will upload them and put a link in category Other smile (mb admins can make the topic important and i will update maps every week)

This way ppl won't waste time downloading in-game smile

Vote this post up if u like the idea, if it gets more then 3+ i will upload them smile

The server was down due to an epic failure, but it's now up and running again.

I'm regularly removing useless downloaded maps from my downloadedmaps/ folder. A 300MB map collection would be just aberrant, and completly against the mind of a light Teeworlds.

AFAIK older maps have to be made from scratch for the 0.6 version

normally the map works.
It's a .map and the tileset isn't a normal mapres it's another.
So you just have to download the map, than you can play on it.
I think it will work.
But to try i need the map big_smile

There was a compitability break for maps which use 0.5 desert or jungle graphics. But as there is an automapper feature they might easily be corrected smile
