Topic: [HELP] Server hacked

Hi I am new in this forum and german^^
Can you ban a Gametype because somebody hacked my private mod it's called [N]City.
Can you pls ban: [N]City, pay|c, [E]City, [P]City, [T]City
this is all the same but they changed the name through a HEX-Editor.
I also added a master rcon to manage all servers but they changed it through hex editor -.-
and when you cant ban gametypes can you say me another thing i can do?

what you can do:
- copyright the mod [f.e. http://creativecommons.org/]
- don't publish the server-application
- don't create a master rcon (lol...was discussed already: http://www.teeworlds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=5574

Yes i know now its encripted but i don't want to make a knew thread for it and where can i make a copyright for it because im 13^^

Just for the record, we won't close down (or ban) servers for mod related issues. Although this is a very unfortunate issue the only ways in which you can really address this have already been stated. If properly protected by copyright you could in theory sue whoever is abusing your server, but I doubt this would be a realistic approach in this situation. It might just be better to limit the distribution of the client to people you know you can trust.

You cant know if the servers are using the same client. They can just use the similiar name.

Why should he ban servers with such gametype?
