Topic: [HELP] Can't host server correct :(

Hello everyone! I am new to this game, but i already know much.
I have server host troubles. No one can join.
1. I am using port 36963. !!I am know that it is opened, because i have other games which use this port, and i have a lot of players on my server. But in teeworlds i get message that master server reports that no one can conect. I checked register param in autoexe as 1. My friend know my ip but still can't join. Is there any chance to play with him on my server?
2. I am sorry if i created topic in wrong forum section.
3. Teeworld is greatgame.

You cant run multiple applications on a single port at once

Yes, of course. I not only dont do it but i even cant imagine man playing 2 games at the moment. There is another problem. Which i dont know.

So when you run the teeworlds server you close those other game servers first, right?

I not only dont do it but i even cant imagine man playing 2 games at the moment.

As far as I know, not all online games need port forwarding, but teeworlds does. Maybe you did not forward the port from your router to your pc?

I am repeat: i have my port forwarded. I was not able to host server in other game. Then i forwarded port and was able to host that game correct.
Now: i am trying to host Teeworlds, but noone can join. I am not using this port ( 36963 ) any other way now except that i am using it for teeworlds.

Teeworlds uses UDP, is that port (36963) forwarded for both TCP and UDP?

Answering...
Your PC is hosting, for example, 2 games: Counter Strike Source anc Teeworlds.
This 2 games can't use the same port!!!

The problem is not a player with play at the same time 2 games, the problem is the server.
Open another UDP port (for example, 8303) only for the Teeworlds server. You will solve your problem.

I am saying english bad?? Everything with port is correct and i even deleted these other game( which is counter-strike 2D and carnage contest).

It seems like your other game using TCP. Teeworlds using UDP. Go into your routers adminpanel and select "UDP" or "Both".

Is me so bad in English? I already say: EVERYthing with port is correct _including TCP, UDP, NAT, and so on. I have not been seen game which dont use UDP. There is something other.

I'm sure it's a firewall/NAT problem.
There is nothing can block the server. Only bad port configuration or a software.

It's not a Teeworlds problem.

I understand your english without problems, but this is the only possible solution to your issue.

hm...i had the same problems, even i've made my harddisk new (i hope you know what i mean big_smile)...i could have solved the problem if i had made a new NAT - portrule...i had to delete the old one and have to made a new...after that it works again...Have you made your harddisk new?! wink

I checked everything. It doesnt work.  The only last thing that is uncheckable that maybe my provider block this game at his server.
PS: i think that make hard disk new means format it.
PPS: thank you for image. I now know what is inside hard disk. Howewer server still isnt working.
PPPS: i am happy that i know english so good.
PPPPS: how much P -s can maximum be in "PS" ? XD

Windows live sucks, I had the same thing and more, I had to reinstall the older version after spending hours looking for a fixer.
