I don't think teeworlds has to provide any function that would need to take action about any other applications (web browser) than teeworlds itself.
But maybe there could be a possibilty to mark in the console, so you can copy&paste stuff...

How about some "fair" votes? I often try to vote for something, but noone really cares about it and the vote ends up with a 4 yes and 2 no on a server with 16 players. Why are players who don't vote are counted as a no? In my opinion they shouldn't even be counted and after the votetime is over the majority should win even if there is a 4 yes 2 no vote on a 16 players server. (Or Im wrong with the fact that Teeworlds is democratically?)

I think that they are not voted has no.
The vote system is based on percentages, not by number of votes.
Example:

Server Percentage to ban*: 35%
Ban vote of player XXX:
30% - Yes
20% - No
50% - Not Voted

Result: Not Banned

Server Percentage to ban*: 30%
30% - Yes
20% - No
50% - Not Voted

Result: Banned

* What's the Percentage of people that is needed to pass a vote?

Have you even read my post? I don't care about any percentages, what the votesystem is based on or how it works. All I want is some democratically fairness. So everybody who don't vote until the end is not counted. I already made a votesystem like this on my server and it worked fine.

//EDIT: btw it's at 50% like every vote.

At the moment, the way the Teeworlds voting system is done, voting no is totally useless; and it's not that bad as it is, since tons of people don't care about voting, and most of those who care are the ones who started the vote.

I like the idea of a hookable flag but that defies some common rules of CTF in any game. But then again,other games don't have a hook ;D

@Dune, have a look at the flagball code. Hookable flags has already been done and does not require client modification.

I have another small suggestion. I think the katana respawn should be randomized to a certain degree. It seems many players work out exactly when it will respawn (every 90 seconds) and they time it just right so as to get it before someone else does. I think this ruins the gameplay because it takes away from the focus of the game. I'd suggest a respawn anywhere between 75 seconds and 105 seconds.

You cannot have decent non-laggy physics for a hookable flag without modifying both client and servers.

Without client-sided prediction, the flag could show laggy. After thinking to it, the flag is a bit special regarding that, maybe it wouldn't be too horrible.

Iirc the devs were thinking about removing the katana since the majority of vanilla servers don't use it. (Then we would have to play "Katana Mod or kCTF tongue )

I doubt there have been any decision for removing the powerup, only modifying it. And if it ends up being removed, you won't actually be able to play such "katana mods".

This might have been discussed before, but what about creating bouncy surfaces? Probably that effect can be achieved with DDrace entities, but it would be curious to find one of those in the Vanilla game modes.

What about VPhyiscs? I would really like to see physics which can change. Like doors or moving platforms to reach other stuff. Solid quads and stuff like that.

It is possible -> if para x = 0, but not really good for 2 players.

Some ideas for weapons:

1. Increase hammer damage
2. Increase ninja powerup life span (and maybe decrease reload time)
3. Replace the laser rifle with the original sniper rifle *
4. Add a "machine gun" weapon

* Originally there were only the hammer,gun,shotgun,grenade and ninja. Then there was to be added a "snipe rifle" but instead of it the laser rifle was added. So up until that point it was all projectile kinetic weapons and then comes a hitscan energy weapon?????

That would be weird for new players. If they connect to a dm server and they can kill other players with one hit, they might think that it's everywhere like that, then they connect to another server where you need 3 hits (or whatever) to kill a player, that would be very confusing for them.

I think if you turn the ninja powerup spawn to a low level all players will camp arround the ninja spawn and never play with the other weapons. It would be just like: take ninja-kill-take ninja-kill... PunBB bbcode test

Machine gun wouldn't be that clever, because per bullet it will take 1 health/shield, so if the other one has just a gun which only shoot 1 bullet per 1/4 second and only take 1 health/shield, he has no chance against the other one who has the machine gun.
