Topic: Username change requests !
If you feel your current user name contains an typographical or grammatical error, or if you have a good reason to change your user name to a totally different one please request so in this topic. A moderator will review your request and in most cases accept it.
1. This can only be done if there is nobody else who uses the requested or a similar username.
2. For optimal moderation we'll keep a record of your previous name.
3. Please think very well about your wish for a new name before sending in a request, as your username can only be changed once every six (6) months. This is to limit both the amount of possible abuse and moderation work that we have to deal with.
4. If you get uncomfortably with your new username within a period of 3 days after your initial request we might be able to restore your old username. After that period you'll have to wait the 6 months out to get your old name back. Once we restore your old username you'll still have to wait 6 months to make another username change.
One thing that is very important to remember is that you should use your new user name to log in to the forum, as the old one will no longer function!
