Hello tees!
After almost 4 months of work, I am glad to announce you releasing TeeCity map. Developing is done, here is first,  I hope bugless version.

- I can't play this map. I download it, join server, but it disconnects me with message: too weak connection (not acked for 10 seconds)
This topic may help you.
- I found a bug.
Just post it here, for found bug you gain position in official server whitelist, so you can access whitelist room, too!
- Who is admin of official server
Khubajsn, in-game <MA> Khubajsn *Cz*. If you are not author of TeeCity or you didn't find a bug, I will not teleport you anywhere and I will not pass you to admin or Whitelist room.
-I have joined the game, but all gates are closed. What can I do?
If you want to open weapon game door, start a vote. It is in Options section.
For opening other doors, e.g. hospital enter, you have to pass VIP run, minigame in Sn@ZzY's room or go trought the hidden way in McDonald kitchen. (go to little pool and hook to the "f" letter. Then go canalisation and work in hospital or other place.

Yeah I saw you yoshi96... The download was really fast for 1400kbytes, that was really nice big_smile I tested the map just a short time and until now I love it ;D Will take a look later again xD

Anyway, really great work dudes!! There just should be some more servers, or otherwise it will get very full soon... big_smile

Edit: Well after some more testing the map is getting boring, and it's worse to open all of these doors (specially if people are afk) and then to find the "old" (the big) city teleport... xD Some parts are really nice, specially the look at the beginning, but at all it's not a map which I would like to play more times, sry thats my real opinion now after some more playing on the map.

I could write some suggestions if you want, but otherwise just ignore me wink

Ok thanks great to hear that. Anyway it could be possible that most people don't like my suggestions... I just make a small list:

1.) Teleports and Hidden
I think there are to much "hidden" places, of course it's against "noobs", but it's kind of boring to search it, cause if you got it, than the other follow you and the joke is gone (or just take a look in the editor).
Anyway, teleports are cutting the ways to move normal in the city, if I go to a city, then I want streets everywhere, not a teleporter which I have to guess.
But that would be an idea: Teleporters on the map as a "station", which teleports you to a random place to get faster to a point, and all is reachable via streets.

The doors are really annoying on some places...

2.) The style
Ehm well how to say it better with an other word... there are some really nice parts, but some of them doesn't fit into... A restaurant close to the Tee King but without a name? (or is that also from TeeKing) Then a really small disco... The hotel is very short. Anyway, at the beginning, if you got no idea where to go, than you only see the few rooms and get really bored and leave shortenly... Anyway, there are to many changes of the walls and that (other tilesets). The most doodads are really nice! smile But some people doesn't recognize that there is a teleporter on top to the "old city" and think that small beginning is all...


3.) The rooms
Well like I already said, some of them are to small or boring. It's to easy to get the weapons as example^^ The hotel is very short, the disco very small (but the hospital is really large, it has got a good size) and the court is ehm well, nice idea, but there are many things missed and thats a really small court big_smile


Anyway, I think a subway (Metro) would be better than this teleports on some places.
Oh well I am bad in saying stuff like that... and maybe you understand me completely wrong now... ^^


There is really good work in the map, but some parts really have to be fixed a lot. You know Palm City? Thats a really nice one, and with some changings your city can be better than this one wink

I hope I haven't written that much mistakes now... :X Many people will maybe disagree with me, it's just my thinking and you can't do it very well for everyone.

@dinosmoothie: No problem, I host server on my personal PC and I have some problems with connection, so its laggy, unstable and.. just I will happy when you will host too. Just send me IP.
@Whitefire:
Hidden places? I don't understand what do you mean. An only hidden place is "secret" way in McDonald.
The rooms: I don't know what next do you want in court. It is enough. I have no idea how to make it better.
The Style: Okay, in next version I will add an name for the restaurant. About disco, maybe I really can make it better. Added to todo. About the shortenly leaving.. When you enter some map, you have to explore it. If you don't do it, it is your problem, but I will add some arrows with names of rooms - OK. And about teleporter to new and old city - you are true. In next Version, I will move restaurant other way and I'll put enter to new city without teleport there.
I had metro there, but it seems me useless. Maybe when there will much than two city parts (old and new part), I will add subway, but now, it is useless by my opinion.
Thanks for commenting, keep on it.
P.S.: About the streets etc.: It is very hard to change style to yours one, because of city is completed and complete reworking can take weeks.

Oh don't make much work just cause my suggestions...^^
Everyone has his own opinion smile

About the hidden places I mean to find out how to get to the other city and this police door at bottom too, well and yes mac donals... smile But thats no really trouble, most problem is just the entry. I love to explore maps too... but some people who joined left very far and some said that it is a bad map :S But the map is better than lots of others and I don't think that it is bad... if the people would have seen the rest than they see how much work has been taken in this map. And it's nice that so many people worked together smile

Anyway, you did  a great job so far, just some changings would be needed in my opinion, and this is only one opinion... xD So don't worry about my commands that much oO smile

whats the special to the other citymaps?
i think, if all guys who worked in to the map would map a vanilla map it could be a very great thing, but what you did, is for me like a normal city map... Ö.Ö

The idea of these is not to get people from vanilla/other "competitive mods" to play this instead, cities are for people who just want to "chill out", not frag other tees. This is why I never play these myself, but some people think it's really fun.
