i tryed it but it didn't function.
or maybe im just too stupid cause my english is too bad =O lol
is someone able to explain it to me more exactly what i have to do?
i created a .cfg file in the TeeWars folder called my_server_config.cfg and
i renamed the teewars_srv.cfg in teewars_srv -f my_server_config.cfg
it doesnt find any server.
btw: yea, i edited the config.cfg file with the standarts which are indicated in docs.

Questions:

1. Do you use a router? Which one?
2. Have you checked your network settings? (Look in Control Panel for Network Settings).

Here are the steps in Windows XP to check you firewall settings and add in an exception for Teewars.

Right click on the Local Area Connection and select Properties.

Select the Advanced tab and then click on Settings....

Click on Add Port....

Add in the details as I've done above, then click OK.

If that does not help you, please ask a professional to come to your place and do it for you ... either that or you should buy a book and learn something!

AFAIK it should be UDP, not TCP (I use Linux, but I think the port is the same on both systems)

... Or at least it was so when I was setting my server up yesterday. (quick glance at router configuration)... No, it hasn't changed at all. wink

mucha, it may be problem with your internet provider, which may block this port

Did you try UDP as mentioned by snowball?

If you have, then try this:
Open a Command Prompt (Start->Run->cmd).

Type in:

ipconfig /all

Then show us the screenshot... I'd like to see if you're IP address is 192.168.x.y or some external IP. If it is 192.168.x.y then your PC is part of a LAN, which is most likely being services by a router!
