Topic: [HELP] How to work with big maps with too many tiles and groups?

Hey Guys.
I have a problem with my bigger maps.
If I have too many tiles and groups,
i cant see them anymore.
and this makes mapping big maps very hard.

So if you could add a scroll border mapping would be much better and easier
thank you

yeah have the same problem. there is a little solution but...
change the tilelayer to group, choose then the tileset and change the group back.
think you dont use so many tiles that you cant see the tileset you want from top...

EDIT: but i would like to have a scroll too wink

I would like too have a scrolling border too, I think that it's not too hard to program.

You can scroll with either middle mouse button or shift and left mouse button.

Or giving Tile layers names would be great.
like if i have a tilelayer with a cloud.
i call it "cloud"

edit:
and i often have problems with envelope editor.
if i want to make 2 envs with same time.
its really hard to make it.

could be with a button to make more
and one to make less
so u could make exactly 100 or 12 or 45

if anyone does mod the client he could do some more thinks that steals my nerves xD

there was that the X/Y from a tile layer must be mouse pressed.. every single number if he could make a step system that you can choose how much it should step up and down or make it sidescrollable that you musstn't press everysingle number

or directly a number like in a text field

real bad english.. x'D

and the function that you can rotate objects and i mean rotate not mirrowing like n/m

it would be userful too if you could exactly input numbers to envelopes

and if you click to choose a tileset if you click in the map it doesn't disappear it but it should xD
fussy i know xD

and i don't know if it is possible to make tilesets larger i think it is dont? xD

and a lil bit more hotkeys that were useful! like to store a set of tiles or to copy a tile layer to cut it out or too move with the keys over the map

and if it is possible  access to the outlook of the editor must not but it would be cool

composited:
*direct entry to the value of X/Y of tile layers and/or Quads
*rotation of objects
*fussy bug
*bigger tilesets (?)
*hotkeys and new functions(copy of tilesets,copy of layers,move with keys)
*ol of the editor as a own png (?)

Here is a client that directly starts map sizes with 200 x 150 tiles
TW Mod Client V1


selfmade and lucky that i could compile it.. i don't understand it bam everytime says something about escapesequenz blablabla x'D but now i have a bam.exe hope it works in future too ..

but i can't mod the client i don't have any experiece with
C++ xor phyton
just found the right part of the code
trough search of the number 50 x'D
