Topic: [HELP] What is the function of collision making?

Hey! Sry for this really stupid question but I don't know for what it is: In the editor you can choose "Make Coollision", for what is that?

Would be great if someone answers

If you make collision, you dont fall trough your map, when you play it. Collisions, as is says, are collisions, where your tee can stand on wink Hope you understand what i mean.

And next time use Search Funktion first !

Thanks for your answer! But isn't the "game layer" for things like "were not falling off" and so on? oO

You are right, use the game layer to make standable, deadable and unhookable blocks.

If you press "make collision", all tiles in this layer will be collisions and your tee can stand on them.
As Kottizen said with the "Game Layer", you can add Death- and Unhookable Tiles. AND one-tile collisions!

With "make collisions" it would go faster, but it's your CUP OF TEE big_smile

As already stated collisions tiles are placed in the game layer. So, if you are working on a none game layer and select "make collisions", the editor will assume all none "empty" blocks in the layer your working on are solid (collision) and all others aren't (clear).

Is there a way to get the "make collision" to work over multiple layers? If you use multiple tile sets (one layer for each new tile set), the editor clears all collision tiles that do not correspond to a none empty tile in the selected layer.

Which means that you can only use the "make collision" for the one layer and then you need to do the rest by hand ... is there a better way?
