Topic: [TOOL] Server status picture tool.

Hi, i made a tool to be able to show status of a server on homepages - it's pretty easy to use and everyone can use it.
Just use the url: 

http://widget.kottnet.net/teestat/stats.php?ip=(serverip)&port=(serverport)

and change the (serverip) and (serverport) to your servers ip and port, examples:



Example on how to use on homepage:

View example - will show status for server 93.100.19.47:8303

Really nice! And good that it is available for all servers!

Here one of my servers:

But maybe you can improve the look! It's good that reserved slots aren't counted as normal slots.

And here the same server with Statee:

Actually, its weird that reserved slots dont count, they should do lol.

I don't use any background because if you want to use it on your homepage it might not fit into it at all, i can probaly make options to add your own background picture and change text-color in future if it will be requested.

edit: and i didn't have any picture to use tongue

I use the reserved slots only for my serveradmins.. Other people needn't know that they are there big_smile

A option would be great!

I like it more then Statee because i like the design!
I dont like so many pictures and bla bla...

I think orginal tw-style lock icon would be best, i only have mspaint on this computer so i can't fix it tongue
That picture wont load for me anyway.

Put "alt" attribute after "src". This may not fix the problem, but it is cleaner coding.

Try to look TeeWorlds czech fansite sometimes. In the bottom, there is offline picture or online picture with details about each czech servers. I made it alone with GIMP and PHP smile

Don't really know much about xml x.x, but don't really get it what you mean?
You mean plain text output or what?

I planned on making a little server monitoring site where you can see when your server has most players, what maps are most popular etc
But i dropped it since i didn't want to code a register/login thingy and link a server with an account etc since it takes loads of time.

Some examples of everything i made:

It's a very nice tool, in my opinion.

I think, Eigan means something like

<serverstat>
     <name>[NOR] Norwegian Hub</name>
     <ip>81.166.222.185</ip>
     <port>8304</port>
     <mapname>run_into_the_hell</mapname>
     <gametype>RACE</gametype>
     <players>3</players>
     <maxplayers>16</maxplayers>
</serverstat>

(Just for example).
Maybe you could add also the feature to output it as JSON (JavaScript Object Notation).
This format is useful for processing it with JavaScript in the Webbrowser.
It would look somehow like this:

{
  "name" : "[NOR] Norwegian Hub",
  "ip"      : "81.166.222.185",
  "port" : "8304",
  "mapname" : "run_into_the_hell",
  "players"      : "3",
  "maxplayers" : "16"
  }

At the end, it would also be useful to output the server listed queried from the master server.
