Topic: Skin Mirrowing

Hello Teeworlds Team.

I Think it was a good idea with skin mirrowing.

When the Player walk left the skin mirrow left.
When the player walk right the skin mirrow right.

That was pretty good for skins : mario ect.

Can you bould in it in v.0.5.2?

THANKS

sorry for my english im German!

Re: Skin Mirrowing

He or she wants, that Tee images (torsos) will change direction aswell.
So if you walk left, the whole Tee does, too.

I don't like this idea, because the shadow would suck then smile

Re: Skin Mirrowing

i thought of it for skins who have for example a tail...

Re: Skin Mirrowing

Yup, I think sometimes it's kinda disturbing for me to see Tees sometimes walking backwards.

Solution: A symetric body with symetric feet would solve the problem. Almost all of my Pokémon skins are symetric.

A wise man told his fellow FPS gamers once: "god forbid any of you going into war"

mecha-kirby told you the solution: symmetric bodys. Everything else is NOT teestyle tongue

Well I think the idea is quite nice....

This old fellow has left this forum to find his way somewhere else. Don't search for him, he'll be fine. Probably. But don't forget him or his deeds (if there are any deeds...)! Never forget the good old ilili.....http://www.teeworlds.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=6460

Re: Skin Mirrowing

feet changing the direction though would be nice... While people jumping the feet for example always are on one side of the tee, no matter what direction. Same goes for normal walking... It sometimes looks a bit strange wink

Regarding the skins i have to agree with landil tongue

Re: Skin Mirrowing

Seems like a good addition which allows for more creativity by allowing for non-symetrical skins as well. Think some of the great skin creators out there are certainly capable of making good use of this. Some of the non-symmetrical skins are very nice but aren't really functional due to the absence of this addition.

asymmetrical skins are not teeish, we had that discussion a year or two ago and it is not planned to change the way skins work. tees just don't need it and custom skins are not supported.

I like exotic skins and it has been quite often that I wished that asymmetrical skins were possible, but as I said ... there's no need to change the engine...

Re: Skin Mirrowing

Teeish is a style description, not an argument or forcable term. Considering a significant group of people takes interest in this at the present the two year old discussion isn't of much value. Only developers know what changes are planned. This issue doesn't address support for custom skins.

Long live telegraph style.
