Topic: Is it possible to "cut" Demos?

I'm just wondering whether I can cut demos. Is it possible? big_smile

i think if you convert them to the right format, you can cut them with a program which is amde for that big_smile after you did that you can convert it abck to the demo format (i think so..). should be possible . but i dont really know if its possible with the special format iof demos!

Hm, I would have to find a working converter first if I wanted to to cut it? That sucks big_smile

Yup there is. And this is the ONLY way.

The .demo format is only for Teeworlds, because it's not a screen-record, just a "list" of datas about the game.
The game renders it, so it's impossible to convert it.

Reason?
Record the screen. Use fraps, mygamerscam, your webcam or (my favorite) camtasia studio.

yeah thats true smile use the fraps demo.. you can make 30 secs long videos so i think they are also cut a bit ^^ you can activate witrh a hotkey like f10 or so...

Hm, already thought so, but converting it into non-.demo files isn't what I'm looking for.
