Topic: WARNING: No master servers. Retrying in 60 seconds (FreeBSD 6.4)

Hey guys.

Trying to set up a server on my FreeBSD server (6.4). I'm using the ports collection, teeworlds 0.5.1 and everything goes just fine until I start the server. The server starts up, but fails to contact the master servers I guess... The masters.cfg file is correct, and everything else is fine... but I keep getting this warning, and it never succeeds in registering with the master servers.

I'm pretty sure my IP isn't blocked because I can run the server off my mac which is on the same network.

I tried a suggestions from Somerunce via IRC: http://rafb.net/p/zunoVl96.html

Changed the source, and recompiled/installed, but now it just hangs on

[49a18bbb][engine/mastersrv]: refreshing master server addresses
[49a18bbc][register]: refreshing ip addresses

Any ideas? Experience? Suggestions?

Hoping to get a dedicated server up for players on the west coast of the United States.

Cheers!

Re: WARNING: No master servers. Retrying in 60 seconds (FreeBSD 6.4)

are you really sure that you opened nat ports for all ips on your lan? maybe you've set them just for your mac not for the server....

have you set your firewall to let clients through it? maybe you can check that.

Doesn't it just say that its refreshing the ip adresses? All you have to do is wait for it to refresh, i see no problem there big_smile

Bye.
