LOL. Why can't you just post here? Is it so hard to speak english? Btw, it's so easy to find german players and german clans. For example the "Phönix" forum is full of posts. I think any fansites of Teeworlds are not neccesarry at the moment. The community is just a bit small (better: too young), I think.

Re: Teeworlds Germany - German Community

No need to be negative. I think a German community is a great deal of filtering the same questions on this board. Some kids cannot speak English since they are too young to learn it in school properly. The problem is, that such projects should not be done by one person, but by a group of people and should not be coded in a unique way. There are some interesting projects, e.g. joomla which provide sophisticated support for interactive community homepages. If a group of German players would create such a community, I'm quite sure it was a sucess.

Teeworlds info'n'tuts on gfx? Landil's sketchbook

Yeah he is inactive but as i and other ppl already mentioned on tw-arena what you and some ppl do atm is split  community up into many many small ones -.-  and thats not the way it should go. You rush into things without any thinking.

Besides releasing a half finished site isn´t really professional

Re: Teeworlds Germany - German Community

I think it inevitable that there will spawn national variants of the teeworlds.com community as long as Teeworlds doesn't have multi-language support on both site and forum. People will always enjoy playing with people which are close to their own interests and speaking the same language can be a strong interest.

Obviously there is nothing to say against a German, or any non-English community, because the younger part of our community probably can't yet benefit from the English forum. And with Teeworlds being a game that attracts lot's of young people this is a good deal of the Teeworlds audience. This doesn't split the community up at all because the people that can't join this core community due to language issues (for example all non-English post will be removed) have never been part of the community in the first place. By creating their own community they too can enjoy the game from a broader array of friends.

However, it would be very much in the interest of the official site to keep close bonds with any external communities until Teeworlds get it's own multi-language support.

Yeah, you're totally right. But please get back into your padded room, 'cause we neither like SHOUTING nor flaming.
