I came up with this idea while i was playing ctf5 map.
So basically i would find useful a tiles with do no damage to your tee when u rocket jump from them.

The idea is nice, but not logical.
Maybe something like a power up which makes you invincible against your own rockets...
Not logical, too, but more than your idea, I think.

Just having the option in the servers to disable damage from self rockets, when the explosion happens by the collision of an own rocket with the ground, would be nice enough.
Just having option to disable hooking, despite there are non-hookable tiles.
RocketJump is already powerful (if you use it carefully) so I don't think such tileset could be good. Besides it will make players rocket jump at this specific point every time which is not very cool
The self-damage of the grenade jump is the counterpart for improved movement, it shouldn't change, this is good game design imo.
And the damage is insignificant if the rocket jump or boost is done properly.

I think he's right. It's like at sports:
Doping => Risks your win but it also makes the chance of winning higher. Nah, bad example.
It's like buying anything. You can't get it wiithout giving anything away (money $$$).
