TeeTV Mapmaking competition #1
Time to bring out your editor and put on your mapping gloves, welcome to the first TeeTV mapping competition.
The idea is to show the community the importance of quality maps. We want to give you all a reason to try and do the very best you can, and make the best maps possible.
So, the idea is that you should create a competitive ctf map balanced for 3on3 in two weeks, that means it should be done and released on the forums 22 January.
Rules:
The map shall not use any non-standard tileset or mod. That means grass, winter and desert is allowed.
The map shall be released on this forum before 22 January.
The map shall be named "teetvc1_<name>" where <name> is your nickname. This is to make it clear who made the map.
The map topic shall be named "[TeeTV comp1] - mapname". We will use this pattern when we search all the maps, so maps not named this way will be disqualified.
Only one map per user. Teams are of course okay.
The map shall be made specifically for this competition.
Judging:
The judges will be the TeeTV crew with help of others. We will not take applications for judges or similar, we ask you if we want your help.
The judging will be based on:
General gameplay and balance.
Adherence to the particular challenge.
Looks and tiling.
Prize and announcement of winner:
The winner will be announced in a special TeeTV cast Saturday 24th January, we will also host the map on our servers and cast matches on it. Further information about that event coming later. 
We hope to see good maps coming out from this, and if the competition is popular we are planning more mapmaking competitions. Questions is answered in this topic.
