Hi,
this is my first tileset, also I need much of feedback!:

2 hours work with inkscape^^
but I think, I made it rlly good for my first tileset smile

Update1: Now with spikes!
Update2:redraw all tiles and added something
Update3: Redraw all and add backgroundtiles

IT´S MY FIRST TILESET DUDE!!!
I´D NEVER TRIED TO WORK WITH INKSCAPE BEFORE!!!
First, I´ve read a tutorial, but I don´t understood it xD
then I´ve tested and tested...
and that´s the result...

Nice, a tileset. OK, it's simple, but that's what's so fun about TeeWorlds, isn't it? Keep it nice and simple. Great go for your first tileset, please continue making tilesets! You'll see you get better and better everytime you manage to make something new. Thumbs up.

Yes I thing this is a nice tileset but I think its too simple. Teemenator must make a little more like background tiles smile

I would continue with this tileset
for example: IcE_mountains (for background-quads)
or IcE_spikes (for racemaps)

Try to google for some ice tiles of old arcade game and try to adapt them to the teewars style. Starting graphic arts is always about copying/combining imho.

*UPDATE* Now with spikes!  I´ve found a nice shape (arrow)^^

Photoshop is much easier than inkscape
but only 30 day trial version sad

Teeminator I know it´s your first tileset but why do you post it if you know it sucks?

Just go on practising and then, maybe one day, post it here if it´s really good.

It was not so hard to do it better smile . Ok, not bad after all, but you still need some more practising. But don't worry you'll do it better if you work hard on it.

Not bad for your first (*second) tileset.

It's OK like this. Simple is better. But maybe some more tiles... for example for the background of a cavern or something. But let the tileset how it is.
