Looks like you didn't start the game from it's own directory. That would cause that.
What do you mean? I downloaded it and try to play from the winzip folder but it didnt work so i move all the files to a new folder and it still didnt work 
Someone else out there that wants to help a fellow gamer 
Open the winzip file, drag the teewars directory out of it into somewhere like your desktop or my documents, start the game from there

Here is a screenshot of mine, I literally just opened the winzip file, dragged the teewars dir out of it onto the desktop and opened it,

I got it working now. I didnt have an directory so i had to place all the files in the correct dir. Thanks for all the help guys and hopefully we will meet eachother on a server
