Meh, I'm already making a tag mod for my clan's servers. Would be interesting to see someone else's approach.

Hmm, I´d like it better if people had their original colors than red and blue, Teeworlds looks nicer that way. In ctf it makes sense, since it´s important to see who´s on what team, but in tag it´s really only the chased one that need to stand out.

Believe it or not, tag variants have been suggested before. The simplest one to visualise would probably be that you tag with a hammer punch. Then all tees chasing could have hammers up (unable to switch), while the chased could be completely without weapons. That should be enough to see the difference.

If you wanna go with the kiss idea though, one neat way to do it would be to add a big lipstick-red kissmouth to the graphics of all chasing tees .

A slightly less creative (but probably easier) way to make the chased one stand out would be to have him/her switch to the ninja skin.

This is IMHO impossible without client side changes also.

Teeworlds is not very open to that regard like loading new game graphics of tees/weapons etc. to the client from server side.
