Topic: new weapon

Hi all!I would like to present you my idea. Make, please, a Refregerance weapon. It should attack ice breath or ice blocks or simply ice. I am sorry for bad English and for little bit silly idea.

The only way I can see an icegun add to the game is if it would freeze the hit tee into an ice-cube, rendering the frozen tee unable to do anything for 2-3 sec, unless hit, in wish case the ice would be broken, standard damage dealt and back in action.

However I doubt this would work very well in practice... =/

If you hit the enemy, he is walking 45% slower (slow, slower, slowliest?!?!?)
and at this time he is walking slowly the ice is hurting him (3 dmg per second?)
and i think the tee is frozen for... 2 seconds smile 2seconds: 6 damage...

Yeah nice idea!
Freeze the tee for 2 seconds, make him much more easier to kill for others and also reduce his health by 6 hp.

Is your weapon an atomic bomb?! Maybe we should create a weapon which kills all tees in the map with one click. Also you have unlimited ammo.

The gameplay of Teeworlds is fast, some weapon slowing down the players doesn't fit.

No, it must be normal weapon, it is not atomic bomb. This weapon may be used not in all maps. It must attacks not more then 1/2 hp. Maybe it will not freeze effect, not slowing. It will be only visual effect, maybe ice block or frost trace. MAybe it will attacks gradually, 1hp/sec for 2 or 3 seconds.

It could be a strategy weapon, not an attack one. So it could be useful for example to stop an ennemy rush, and when enemies are frozen, you use another weapon to kill them. For sure such a weapon shouln't be powerfull at all.

Should be some sort of one shot only weapon in this case, but I still don't like the idea.

i think first there should be more powerups... life, shield and katana are too less sad

a "POWER" block like in super mario would be nice lol big_smile
everyone except yourself is getting 3/4 damage!
or a "FREEZE" block... everyone except yourself is getting freezed and they can't move for 4 seconds OR: they are moving 40% slowlier for 10 seconds

everyone except yourself is getting 3/4 damage!

That would be a disadvantage for yourself. X-P

I think a 50% speed reduction and 1 heart per second should be good.

hmm... at first i thought it wouldnt realy work.. but teeworlds DOES need more "special weapons"....
