Topic: Adolf & Co

It's really annoying. In the past few days there wasn't one day where I have not seen anyone named "Adolf Hitler", "Goebbels", ("Josef Fritzel") etc. Often I see them sieg heiling or calling a win an "endsieg". It's sad that they do this and take these names, but it's even more sad I cannot do anything.

What do you think, we can do?
Is there a possibility to get the IP adresses of the persons, even if I am not server admin?

you can only ignore those idiots.
the only thing you could do is vote for them to be kicked.

hmm... my idea: maybe you can open a server at home.. and ask them for a 1v1(2v2) game... if they say yes... you can get the ip.. if not.. not..^^

But when you lose the 1on1 it will be a victory for him and it would be very humiliating.

Ignoring is best. Better concentrate on getting those "server crash" bastards.
Oh and i have to report that they FAILED to crash the servers some time ago. They tried very hard, long and often, but didn't succeed. A win for teeworlds!

I haven't seen the name "Davbus" for a long time. It seems like he's quite now.
He was the first guy who was jumping 'round as Adolf Hitler... Another guy even created a clan and a server called "NaZi|" and there were guys like:

This is probably too complicated, but maybe you could add a check in the name setting code or somewhere that would check peoples names. Maybe with a list of banned names.

Ignoring is easiest.

Haven't seen offenisve nicks for months ... so i think they just calmed down. Besides don't feed the deads, they could become undead O_o

Maybe their is a way that you are not able to take such names like "A. Hiltler" or somthing else, when you want to change your name. E. g. at a homepage you can make that forbidden words can not be used --> someone could make that in TW, too

Yes, okay ill decide. TeE~KillA is totally offensive in my opinion, ban that name. Srsly, most stupid idea ever. Let this thread rest in peace as I see no reason to talk about attention whores and trolls - coz thats what they are. If u think and talk about them, they've won. Totally no actions need to be taken. Anybody can choose a name they want, even if it represents some stupid/offensive idea, thing, religion, politics, whatever.

We will meet again when the flowers spread their glorious scent of victory and the birds sing us the melody of justice...
